Auckland NORML is fundraising to help medicinal cannabis advocates have a stall and professional presence at the North Island G.P. CME Conference, held in Rotorua on 10-12 June 2017.
GP’s need education about medicinal cannabis, and support to guide them through the application process.
Peter Dunne thinks the problem with slow and tiresome applications lies with doctors, not him. So we are taking up the challenge and bringing cannabis education to medical professionals. The N.I. G.P CME Conference is attended by more than two thousand GP’s.
It won’t be cheap. The stall costs $3000 plus there are transport costs, producing materials, banners and displays, and so on. All up we estimate we need $6750 or more, but the payoff on this investment could be huge for patients all over NZ. We even have several doctors and a lawyer willing to work the stand!
