Roll up, roll up, Auckland! Show your support for law reform at these roadside rallies. Sept 9, Sept 23, & Oct 7. Bring a smile, sign, and your buddies!
Auckland Rally 1: Sept 9 – Ponsonby Road at Western Park
Auckland Rally 2: Sept 23 – Ponsonby Road at Western Park
Auckland Rally 3: Oct 7 – Grey Lynn shops (nearby: CannaPosium event)
Remember: cannabis supporters are a huge voting block, with 49% of all voters voting Yes in the 2020 cannabis referendum, and an estimated 80% of NZ adults having tried cannabis at least once in their life.
We can swing this election if we vote for candidates and parties who support cannabis law reform, medical access and hemp for all. We can be more influential than conservative religious blocks pushing their agendas.
Aside from voting, we can all help by making sure we let our views be known to parties and candidates. If you see anyone campaigning for your vote – party helpers waving signs, volunteers putting up billboards, or candidates out in your electorate – just let them know cannabis law reform is important to you. That’s all you have to say. For example:
“Cannabis is important to me, and what you do and say about cannabis will influence how I vote.”
Voting opens Oct 2. Last day for voting is Sat 14 October (election day).
